Yam dreaming is  the work of Lorna Napurrulla Fencer who passed in 2006, marking the end of a breathtaking flourish of  artistic output in the artist's seventieth and eightieth years. Represented in the Australian National Gallery, National Gallery of Victoria and other State Galleries and private collections, Napurrulla's work has always been strongly collectable and in demand. Lorna Napurrulla Fencer has been likened to Emily Kngwarreye's work, however is distinctly her own. She is custodian of the Napurrulla Dreamings.
