The ample woven cowhide seat and seat back imbue the Peter armchair with airy lightness and a typically outdoor vibe. The Peter armchair can be coordinated with its eponymous footstool.

Antonio Citterio
With the Peter Armchair, Antonio Citterio demonstrates how a simple structural gesture can give a design its identity. The intersecting lines of its frame bring a sense of precision and elegance, while the openness of the composition allows the chair to sit lightly within an interior. It reflects Citterio's ability to create distinctive forms through restraint and proportion. Born in Meda, Italy in 1950, Antonio Citterio opened his design studio in 1972 and graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1975. His work spans architecture, interiors and industrial design, and he was awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in both 1987 and 1994. Citterio's relationship with Flexform began in the 1970s and has continued uninterrupted for more than five decades. It is the longest-standing creative partnership in Flexform's history and has played a defining role in shaping the brand's understated approach to contemporary living.
