Neuilly dining chair
Made in Italy
Designed by Bonaldo
Designed by Fabrice Berrux, the Neuilly chair comes to life thanks to the combination of different and clearly outlined elements such as the thin metal tubular structure on the one side and the upholstered elements on the other. The padded seat plays with the curvilinear shape of the welcoming backrest/armrest, which embraces the body with a single ergonomic movement thereby guaranteeing a natural posture for the back and offering unencumbered support for the arms. The resulting product is a modern and comfortable living room chair characterized by a versatile style and a lightweight image. The catalogue also features the matching Neuilly too stool.
Available in a range of fabrics and finishes
Fabrice Berrux
For the Neuilly Chair, Fabrice Berrux reinterprets the familiar language of the traditional bistro chair with greater comfort and refinement. A slender tubular metal frame contrasts with the generous upholstered seat, while the curved backrest extends into the armrests in one continuous gesture, creating a design that feels both distinctive and naturally at home within an interior. Bonaldo A graduate of the National School of Fine Arts in Dijon, French designer Fabrice Berrux established his first studio, 18 Août, in 1987, creating playful objects that went on to be sold through major museum stores including the Centre Pompidou in Paris. In 1991, he founded lighting company Dix Heures Dix and has since developed an extensive body of work across furniture, lighting and objects for leading international design brands. His longstanding collaboration with Bonaldo includes designs such as Panorama, Circus, Youpi and Neuilly, with Panorama receiving a Good Design Award.
