Gliss explores the expressive possibilities of glass through rhythm, texture and light.
Crafted entirely from DV-Glass®, an innovative material developed by FIAM through the high-temperature fusion of individual strips of glass, its vertical striations bring movement and depth to the surface, subtly shifting in transparency from different perspectives.
Available in smoked, bronze and green glass finishes.
Ceriani Szostak
Founded in Amsterdam in 2024 by Gilberto Ceriani and Ania Szostak, Ceriani Szostak brings together a shared design perspective shaped by a decade working together at Marcel Wanders Studio. Their work spans furniture, lighting and interiors, with a particular interest in materiality and exploring familiar materials in unexpected ways. Their approach balances tradition with contemporary thinking through a refined yet experimental design language. For Gliss, the designers drew inspiration from the beauty of pleated fabrics, translating their folds, rhythm and sense of movement into glass. The vertical striations give an inherently rigid material an unexpected fluidity, allowing light, shadow and transparency to continually alter its appearance.
