Everett Sofa by Flexform
Made in Italy
Designed by Antonio Citterio for Flexform
The Everett Sofa brings together graphic precision and generous comfort. Its distinctive metal structure is wrapped in woven cowhide cord, dense at the base before gradually opening towards the top to allow light and air to pass through.
The intricate structure frames a deep, softly rounded seat, creating a beautiful contrast between architectural form and enveloping comfort. Available as a two or three-seat sofa, Everett is a distinctive new addition to the Flexform collection.
Antonio Citterio
For the Everett Sofa, Antonio Citterio explores the relationship between structure and softness. The woven cowhide enclosure gives the design its graphic identity, gradually opening from a dense weave at the base to a lighter structure above. Within it, generous upholstered forms create an inviting counterpoint to the precision of the frame. Born in Meda, Italy in 1950, Antonio Citterio opened his design studio in 1972 and graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1975. His work spans architecture, interiors and industrial design, and he was awarded the prestigious Compasso d’Oro in both 1987 and 1994. Citterio’s relationship with Flexform began in the 1970s and has continued uninterrupted for more than five decades. It is the longest-standing creative partnership in Flexform’s history and has played a defining role in shaping the brand’s understated approach to contemporary living.
