Margherì Outdoor Sofa by Flexform

Made in Italy

Designed by Monica Armani for Flexform

An outdoor furniture collection inspired by the Belle Époque – when the garden set the stage for elegant living and time unfolded slowly between light and shadow. Wrapped in cord, the delicately curved steel structure forms graceful petal-like shapes in the armrests and backrests. Epoxy powder-coated in elegant shades, it dialogues seamlessly with the different colors of polypropylene cord available. Generously proportioned cushions with soft padding complete a system designed to endure – inviting that cultivated dolce far niente, the refined leisure once associated with the intellectual elite who defined an era.

Monica Armani

For the Margherì Outdoor Sofa by Flexform, Monica Armani drew inspiration from the leisurely elegance of the Belle Époque, when gardens were places to gather, relax and enjoy time together. The collection reflects her belief in restrained design, where graceful curves, balanced proportions and thoughtful details create a welcoming sense of comfort. Born in Trento, Italy, Monica Armani is an architect and designer whose work is defined by refined geometry, precision and a thoughtful balance between beauty and function. The daughter of architect Marcello Armani, she developed an appreciation for architectural discipline and attention to detail from an early age. Together with her husband and creative partner, Luca Dallabetta, she has established a distinctive design philosophy known as Design in Molecules, combining rational thinking with intuition and experimentation. Her work spans architecture, interiors, furniture and lighting, with an approach that brings together technical precision and understated elegance.
