Belle Helena is a family holiday house, a working farm and a luxury getaway all in one. Its most recent transformation has elevated it to a luxury retreat built for fun and as a place for guests to enjoy. The furniture in the house was commissioned 20 years by the owner from Fanuli, and was still robust and in incredible condition, however it did need a colour and fabric refresh. Lara Fanuli handled the interiors upgrade as part of the complimentary interior design service Fanuli offers to customers and worked to reupholster the original pieces with a focus on serviceability and longevity, along with selecting fabrics that would transform the space into somewhere that is inviting and memorable for guests. Working with a natural colour palette that harmonises with the existing timber joinery, the result is a modern ranch house offering rest and leisure, which can now be enjoyed by guests of the hinterland retreat.
