Antonio Citterio
For Quincy, Antonio Citterio explores a more fluid approach to the contemporary living room. Its continuous, enveloping backrest creates a distinctive architectural form, while softly rounded corners and generous cushioning bring an inviting sense of comfort. The modular system allows these sculptural elements to come together in configurations that encourage connection and conversation. Born in Meda, Italy in 1950, Antonio Citterio opened his design studio in 1972 and graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1975. His work spans architecture, interiors and industrial design, and he was awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in both 1987 and 1994. Citterio's relationship with Flexform began in the 1970s and has continued uninterrupted for more than five decades. It is the longest-standing creative partnership in Flexform's history and has played a defining role in shaping the brand's understated approach to contemporary living.
